PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound containing Zn, having uniform and fine particles and highly pure and useful as a microwave dielectric material etc. by blending three kinds of metal alkoxy groups with a specific solvent, adding water to the blend and heating and hydrolyzing the blend. CONSTITUTION:Three kinds of alkoxy groups expressed by formulas I, II and III (A and B are respectively p-and q-valent metal atoms; A is alkaline earth metal and B is Nb or Ta; q is not 2; and R1-3 is alkyl) is uniformly blended with an organic solvent (e.g. hexanol) containing a higher alcohol expressed by formula IV (n is >=5) and having solubility to water of <=11wt% at 25 deg.C to provide a blend solution, to which then water or a blend solution of water and a desired organic solvent is added to hydrolyze the metal alkoxy groups. During or after the hydrolysis, the treated blend solution is heated in the presence of water and organic solvent at >=85 deg.C and the solvent is removed from the solution to afford a perovskite-type complex compound expressed by formula V, exhibiting a constitution expressed by formula VI and being a compound expressed by formula VII, etc.
