DIELECTRIC COAXIAL RESONATOR

PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of frequency by forming an inner conductor and an outer conductor to an inner and an outer circumferential face of a cylindrical dielectric respectively and adjusting the amount of solder in a solder pool provided to a coupling terminal of the inner conductor led out of the dielectric at the release end face. CONSTITUTION:The inner conductor 14 and the outer conductor 16 are formed respectively to the inner circumferential and the outer circumferential face of the cylindrical (or prism-shaped) dielectric 12. Then the coupling terminal 20 connected to the inner conductor 14 by solder 18 or the like is led out of an open end face S of the dielectric 12 to form a dielectric coaxial resonator 10. The outer conductor 16 and the coupling terminal 20 are connected to an earth pattern electrode 24 and a line pattern electrode 26 on the circuit board 22 by solder or the like. Then a recessed part 20c formed by a stopper 20a and a projection 20b of the coupling terminal 20 is used as the solder pool and the frequency of the oscillating circuit is adjusted by adjusting the quantity of the solder in the recessed part 20c. Thus, the frequency adjustment in facilitated and the damages to components or pattern electrodes of the circuit board or the like are avoided.
