PURPOSE:To make an interchanging job for rollers so easily to the utmost, by forming a U-shaped groove being fitted in a turning shaft in each roller, reversing two almost semicircular rollers to each other, and locking them to the turning shaft, in case of a roller device to be used for transfer paper or the like of a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A roller device makes two rollers 1 of the same form reverse to each other, and it uses them after being locked to a turning shaft 3. In each roller 1, whose cross sectional form is an almost semicircle, and consisting of a circular outer surface 1a and a flat outer surface 1b, there is provided with a U-shaped groove for fitting in the turning shaft 3 open to the outer surface. The roller 1 is attached free of detachment in a direction orthogonal with the turning shaft 3 by a mounting device. When the roller 1 is attached to the turning shaft 3, the U-shaped groove of each roller 1 is inset in a direction orthogonal with the turning shaft 3, and locked by the mounting device of a screw 9 or the like. When the roller 1 is removed from the shaft 3, this screw 9 is removed, therefore the roller 1 is removed in the direction orthogonal with the shaft 3.
