PURPOSE:To generate thick parts at random intervals without varying the twist number and yarn count, by independently driving only a middle roller with a variable speed motor and increasing the speed by a specific increment for a short time at irregular time intervals. CONSTITUTION:A middle roller 3 is independently rotated with a geared motor 12 and the rotation of the geared motor 12 is controlled with an inverter 15 supplying an output current variable according to a random number signal transmitted from a computer 14 containing a random number generator. The middle roller 3 is accelerated by 30-80% for 0.1-0.5sec at irregular time intervals to generate thick parts at random intervals. The diameter of the thick part is about 130-180% of the diameter of the ground yarn. |
