PURPOSE:To stop a transported article at an arbitrary position, keeping a chain in traveling state, by arranging a transported article supporting roller having the larger outside diameter than that of a chain roller in zigzag form between the chain parts. CONSTITUTION:The outside diameter of a roller 8 is made less than that of a roller 9 for loading a transport article, in order to permit the travel on a prescribed rail and avoid the contact with a transported article. The chain parts 1 and 2 are arranged in parallel, allowing the centers of curvature to coincide with each other, keeping a transport roller part 3 interposed, and a series of endless bodies are constituted by forming one pitch by each pin 6. The transport roller part 3 is incorporated between the both chains 1 and 2 arranged in parallel, and the rollers 9... are arranged in zigzag form. These rollers 9... are installed into the inner and outside ring plates 4 and 5 positioned inside the both chain parts 1 and 2, and a shaft 10 is fixed into a hole drilled on the chain pitch line through a stop ring 12, and the roller 9 is pivotally supported in turnable ways onto the shaft 10, and the outside diameter of the roller 9 is made larger than that of the roller 8 in the chain parts 1 and 2.
