PURPOSE:To prevent any edge load from being generated on a contact surface by bringing a roller and the surface of a straight rail to be in contact with the roller into circular surface contact with each other for making the contact state between both said elements to be constant. CONSTITUTION:A straight rail 2 is in a round bar-like form, and the outer circumferential curvature thereof is kept constant over the whole surface, and the curvature of a roller 8a... which is in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the straight rail 2 is also kept constant. Thereby, even though the contact position of the roller 8a... with the outer circumferential surface of the straight rail 2 differs, the contact angle of the roller 8a... is constant and kept excellent at all times. Accordingly, even though the contact position on the outer circumferential surface varies, the contact angle of the roller 3a... is constant so that any edge load can not be generated on the roller.
