PURPOSE:To prevent a self-rotation preventive device from generating wearing and seizure, by setting a length between both ends of a key, extending from a ring-shaped main unit of a self-rotation preventing mechanism, to the length in which the turning diameter of a movable scroll is added to its diameter. CONSTITUTION:A self-rotation preventive device 0 is constituted of the first key 10, which slidably engages with the first guide groove 12 provided in a movable scroll 4 in two directions crossing at right angles with each other in the diametric direction of a ring-shaped main unit 9, and the second key 11 which slidably engages with the second guide groove 13 provided in a fixed member 2 supporting a fixed scroll 3. And a length between both ends of the first key 10 is set to the length in which at least a turning diameter (d) of the movable scroll 4 for the fixed scroll 3 is added to the diameter D of the movable scroll 4. In this way, the self-rotation preventive device, which decreases a surface pressure received from each first guide groove 12 of the movable scroll 14 to the first key 10, prevents the generation of wearing and seizure. |
