PURPOSE:To improve the heat dissipation property of a coil by forming the coil by continuously winding a partially heated coil conductor in a state of high temperature on a prepreg sheet insulating paper wherein an impregnated thermosetting resin is made into a semi-hardened state. CONSTITUTION:A coil conductor 1 is sent to a coil bobbin 6 after heated by a coil conductor heating device 7. A prepreg-treated interlayer insulating paper 2 is previously wound on the coil bobbin 6 and the coil conductor 1 is wound on the interlayer insulating paper 2. The resin of the interlayer insulating paper 2 is softened by the heat of the coil conductor 1 since the coil conductor 1 has already been heated. Further, a tension given to the coil conductor 1 makes the softened resin to be pushed to both sides by the coil conductor 1, buries the coil conductor 1 in the resin and in this way, the coil conductor 1 is wound. This almost prevents an air layer from being involved in a coil and the heat dissipation property of the molded coil is improved.
