PURPOSE:To transmit data through a single transmission line by latching data supplied from a transmission side equipment in n-latch circuits, and selecting and outputting latched data with the aid of a reception signal selection signal. CONSTITUTION:In the transmission side equipment 1, a data signal (a), a frame pulse (b) and a clock signal (c) enter a receiver 12 through buffers 14-1-14-3 and a cable 1. The signal (a) reaches the latch circuits 17-1-17-n, while the pulse (b) and the signal (c) reach a pulse generator circuit 18. With the aid of the pulse (b) and the signal (c) the circuit 18 generates latch pulses d-1-d-n, which hold data (a) between frames in the circuits 17-1-17-n. A selection circuit 20 selects output signals e-1-e-n from the circuits 17-1-17-n, and outputs them as an output signal (i). A pulse generator circuit 19 generates a selection signal (h) controlling the circuit 20 from a frame pulse (f) on the reception side and a clock signal (g). Thus the signal (a) can be transmitted through a single transmission line. |
