PURPOSE:To easily detect and correct errors of declensional KANA (Japanese syllabary) endings by detecting a character string a declensional KANA ending error with reference to a produced character string pattern and producing a character string with declensional KANA endings with respect to said detected character string. CONSTITUTION:A declensional KANA ending error detecting function block 4 checks a character string text stored in a character string text storing function block 9 and stores a character string part coincident with a character string pattern including a declensional KANA ending error and stored in a declensional KANA ending dictionary 10 in a declensional KANA ending detecting information storing function block 7. A declensional KANA ending correcting function block 5 corrects the declensional KANA ending error of the detected character string part based on the detecting information stored in the block 7. A declensional KANA ending dictionary maintaining function block 6 replaces the correct/wrong information on the adding ways of the declensional KANA endings stored in the dictionary 10.
