The signboard fastening device clamp (4) consists of a piece of hoop iron joined to the board carrier (3). It has two bent legs which possess openings for pulling through the metal strip and has central cut-outs at the ends. The centre piece of the clamp is designed with bent regions on the margin side which grip round the board carrier. This board carrier has a series of holes to receive a connecting screw to the clamp.
