The clamp is used for fixing two plastics parts of different cross-section to each other, and is bent out of spring steel strip. The bent shape conforms with that of the two parts to be joined. The spring force of the clamp (A) is such that the two plastics parts (B, R) are held together so that no torsional or tipping movement between them is possible. Nevertheless, the parts can expand under the effect of heat, causing them to draw apart and together again, but this in no way detracts from the ability of the clamp to prevent them twisting or tipping.
