Drip irrigators each have an outlet channel dimensioned to deliver a required water volume. The irrigators are formed by a dripper element in conjunction with surface regions of the line. The dripper element has surface regions with recesses. In the operating position of the dripper element on the line, the recessed surface regions are in sealing contact with surface areas of the line. They bound the outflow channel with the corresponding surface area.
