<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a heat generating device saving power, by arranging a rotary unit, driven by an electric motor, in a cylindrical casing and providing the rotary unit in said electric motor while arranging dam plates before and after the rotary unit. CONSTITUTION:A heat generating device provides a rotary unit 104, which is driven by an electric motor 105 having a function of suction and discharge, to be arranged in a cylindrical casing 101 respectively opening a suction port 102 and a discharge port 103. Annular dam plates 107, 108 are arranged along before and after said rotary unit 104 in the cylindrical casing 101, and a pressure regulating chamber 109, which stores the rotary unit 104 to be housed, is formed between both the dam plates 107, 108. By this constitution, friction heat can be generated between the rotary unit 104 and gas while holding the inside of the cylindrical casing 101 to a constant pressure balanced condition. While the gas, heated in the cylindrical casing 101, is discharged as warm air to the outside from the discharge port 103.</p> |
