PURPOSE:To obtain a grinding tool with high spherical precision without needing skill in a bonding work, by a method wherein, in a spherical surface processing tool, annular particle aggregates for grinding are bonded by means of adhesive to the spherical surface of a spherical bonding tool serving as a base. CONSTITUTION:Annular particle aggregates 6 for grinding, which are produced such that grinding particles such as aluminum oxide are bonded with resin and have grooves 8, are bonded to a spherical bonding tool 5 by means of a resin adhesive 7, forming processing is made for a few minutes in a condition to place a correcting tool 9 for grinding tool thereon as water is sprinkled thereon, and the radius of spherical curvature of grinding tool is produced with high precision. This eliminates skill in bonding of the annular particle aggregates for grinding to the spherical bonding tool, and the annular particle aggregates for grinding, having several different outer diameters, are prepared, and this permits easy manufacture of a high-precise tool for grinding lenses having an arbitrary radius of curvature. |
