PURPOSE:To increase electrode processing capacity per formation jar and concurrently to obtain excellent characteristics by the use of the small amount of electricity by excluding electrode plates in the midst of formation from an electric circuit for formation, in the order of their facing electrodes in the internal direction. CONSTITUTION:When formation of electrodes piled in numbers is performed, a current flowing into the internal electrodes needs to pass through electrolytic solution in the external electrodes, so that formation of the internal electrodes becomes hard by a degree of this resistance. Then, electrode processing capacity per formation jar is increased by enlarging the piling number of electrodes during formation, and concurrently the amount of electricity needed for formation is much decreased. That is, when the piled electrodes are excluded in the process of formation from an electric circuit in the order of the electrodes completed in formation on both terminals, such a problem that formation becomes harder to occur as the position for formation is nearer to the central part of the piled electrodes can be removed. |
