发明名称 CRACKING DETECTING METHOD FOR CERAMIC MOLDING BODY
摘要 PURPOSE:To extremely easily and securely perform detection by visual inspection by treating the ceramic molding body thermally within a temperature range above 1,200 deg.C below the sintering temperature of ceramic and then detecting the cracking of the ceramic molding body. CONSTITUTION:A slurry-cast molding body before or after a degreasing treatment is treated thermally in an atmosphere or oxidizable atmosphere at temperature above 1,200 deg.C and below the sintering temperature of the molding for 1-2hr until the molding body shrinks within a 1-2% range. Then, curved cracking which is caused frequently in the slurry-cast molding body and hardly detected by various kinds of nondestructive inspection, etc., is open in the external surface of the molding body. The presence of the internal cracking of the molding body is detected by visual inspection.
