PURPOSE:To suppress the oscillation of an optical head, by permitting the center of gravity of an optical head, the line of action of a force working for moving the optical head, and a moving guide shaft in the case that a movable member with the fitted optical head is moved, to coincide with one another on the same horizontal line. CONSTITUTION:The center Go of gravity of an optical head 13, the line LA of action of a force working for the movable member of a movable main-unit 15 or the like with the fitted optical head 13, and the center Gg of gravity of a guide rail 17 are permitted to coincide with one another on the same horizontal line LH. When current is permitted to flow to a coil 21 and the movable member on the optical head 13 side is moved, then a force works on the center Go of the gravity of the optical head 13, and so an unsuitable rotational force does not work for the optical head 13. Even if slight oscillation is generated when bearings 18 are rolled, it can be avoided that the moment of an unsuitable force works for the guide rail 17 and that the optical head 13 is prevented from being smoothly moved.
