PURPOSE:To make it possible to suppress variations in solubility due to variations in pH or temperature and to cause non-image areas to recover sufficient hydrophilicity, by mixing a petroleum fraction with an aqueous solution containing hydroxyethyl cellulose, phytic acid, a sulfate or hydrogen sulfate and a fatty amine by using a surface active agent. CONSTITUTION:A petroleum fraction comprises hydrocarbon compounds as main constituents, and functions to dissolve a dried ink, namely, a resin. An aqueous solution to be mixed with the petroleum fraction contains hydroxyethyl cellulose, phytic acid, a sulfate or hydrogen sulfate and a fatty amine dissolved therein. The hydroxyethyl cellulose and phytic acid are to be adhered to non- image areas of a planographic plate to contrive recovery of hydrophilicity. The sulfate or hydrogen sulfate and the fatty amine displays a reduction function, and excludes the adverse effect (mainly, oxidation of an aluminum surface) of the atmosphere on the non-image area of the planographic plate. |
