PURPOSE:To manufacture a thermoelectric device which can cause a temperature difference, simply and with good accuracy, by making use of a thick-film method, by a method wherein a thermoelectric material is formed in grooves which are formed at a heat-resisting and heat-insulating material at prescribed intervals, the material is cut at prescribed intervals, and organic resin is laminated so that an electrode can be formed. CONSTITUTION:By using an inorganic material, e.g. glass, where a thermoelectric material can be sintered, the material where grooves are formed at prescribed intervals is prepared; a thermoelectric material 2 is formed in the grooves of the glass 1. A heat-resisting and heat-insulating material which is obtained in this way and in which the thermoelectric material is buried at prescribed intervals separates the thermoelectric material 2 vertically in relation to the thermoelectric material, at prescribed intervals and in parallel in the direction causing a temperature difference; organic resin 3 such as epoxy resin or the like is filled in the gap of the separated thermoelectric materials 2. Then, a connecting part at the lower part of the glass 1 is removed; the part between an N-type thermoelectric material and a P-type thermoelectric material is connected in series by an electrode 4. Through this constitution, it is possible to simply obtain a high-performance thermoelectric device for an electronic watch. |
