PURPOSE:To furnish a cemented carbide printing wire which has little dispersion of a compression residual stress and a large fatigue strength, by the grinding- finish of the outer peripheral surface of the title cemented carbide print wire with a finish grindstone which has a specific grindstone average grain size and a specific grindstone grain size distribution width. CONSTITUTION:Though the grain size of a grindstone is selected within a finish surface roughness range of a grindstone in the determination of a grinding surface roughness of a grindstone, a grindstone A having a grain size of + or -1mum, i.e. of 2mum in grindstone grain size distribution range is selected. Further, a diamond grindstone B of 5mum-10mum in grindstone average grain size is also prepared as a finish grinding stone. By grinding finish of the outer periphery of a cemented carbide printing wire with this finish grinding stone A3B, the cemented carbide printing wire which has little dispersion of compression residual stress after grinding and a large fatigue strength can be furnished. |
