PURPOSE:To perform the printing of which is bridge part is eliminated by a simple process, by a method wherein at least one pulse of a laser beam irradiates any one of the three, i.e. a stencil, a projection, or treating matter to be marked by moving a bridge in a direction to be eliminated. CONSTITUTION:When a laser beam is irradiated on a stencil 2, a meniscus lens 3, and treating matter to be marked 4 as they are fixed to, for instance, a square frame having a bridge 5, the square frame having the bridge is printed on the treating matter to be marked 4. Then, when the laser beam is irradiated for a fixed time by moving the meniscus lens 3 vertically to a position of a dotted line 3', a pattern punched on the stencil 2 is projected so as to fill up vertically the bridge 5 without generating any blur since it is not moved in the cylindrical axis (lateral direction) of a cylindrical lens 1. Therefore, the printing of which the bridge part 5 is not conspicuous can be achieved. Since the width of the bridge 5 is very narrow and the direction of a narrow width is made as a moving direction, the bridge part is eliminated and a character pattern is clearly printed. |
