PURPOSE:To prevent a flexible printing card from being peeled-off from a reinforcing material irrespective of the number of times of taking-out and insertion, by constructing a thermal head so that the electrode end of the flexible printing card is made to take a detour about the end part of a reinforcing plate and said end part is enclosed thereby. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 4-1, 4-2, ..., 4-n are established not at the end part of a flexible print card 21, but in the vicinity of a folding part thereof. Therefore, when a thermal head 30 is inserted into a head holding tool 20, the metal terminal 16 of a connector 12 is not contacted with the bonding part of a reinforcing material 3 and the flexible print card 21, but advances to be brought in contact with the electrodes 4-1, 4-2...4-n and is not applied with a force of tearing the flexible printing card 21 off from the reinforcing material 3 in advancing time. Therefore, irrespective of the number of times of taking-out and insertion, the flexible printing card is never peeled off from the reinforcing material and the reliability for the electrode part of the thermal head can be increased. |
