PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction in the signal-to-noise ratio under the influence of a digital signal and to accurately read out an output of each photoelectric transducer by a method wherein a wiring part and a connecting terminal which connect a power source and a control terminal of two or more integrated circuit devices mutually or in common are formed on a second substrate. CONSTITUTION:A substrate which constitutes a readout device 1 is divided into a first substrate 2 and a second substrate 4. Both an image pickup means 3 which is formed by arranging a number of photoelectric transducers P1-Pn at least in one row and two or more integrated circuits IC1-ICn are formed collectively on the first substrate 2. A power source line which supplies electricity to the integrated circuits IC's and two or more wiring lines la-le, located in the digital region, for a serial data signal and a clock signal to be used for driving a switching element in succession are formed inside the second substrate 4. If the region for the digital signal is separated from the region for an analog signal in this manner and is connected to the integrated circuit devices IC's at the shorted distance from the second substrate, the signal-to-noise ration can be improved.
