PURPOSE:To omit a returning job to an original point by checking whether the node data is coincident or not with the identifying signal showing a target stop position, and providing an identification switching means which switches a control mode to a positioning mode from a steady driving mode when said coincidence is obtained. CONSTITUTION:A drive controller 1 receives an external command for a node M of a targeted place and the driving speed of a vehicle on the way, to write the identifying data on the corresponding node M to a positioning signal generator 5 and also to supply the driving speed data to a driving speed generator 2. Based on said speed data, the generator 2 outputs the speed command value to drive the vehicle at a steady speed (steady driving mode) via a switch 3, a servo driver 6 and a servo motor 7. While a node signal receiver 6 transmits a positioning signal to the generator 5 and delivers a mode switching signal when coincidence is secured between the identifying signal of the node M and the held node data on a target place for switch to the speed command value of its own output.
