PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of polling and to more rapidly grasp unjust visual and aural information by changing logical addresses of all subscribers' terminals under monitor to other logical addresses by means of an abnormal response from the terminal. CONSTITUTION:If one of the terminals returns the abnormal response that it is tapped and furtively glanced when an auxiliary unit 4 polls the terminals under monitor, the unit 4 transmits to a central information which is in common with the terminals. The center 1 commonly deals with the terminals under the monitor of one unit 4, whereby the responsibility of having terminal information is raised. The center 1 requests of the unit to change the logical addresses of all the terminals at the time of polling. Thus, the logical address required for correctly receiving a paid broadcasting signal is rewritten by other address given from the auxiliary unit in the tapped and furtively glanced terminal. Consequently, unjust reading becomes uneffective.
