PURPOSE:To miniaturize the title apparatus, by using two kinds of laser diodes different in an oscillation wavelength as a light source and exciting a fluorescent label by said laser diodes. CONSTITUTION:A laser diode (LD) 14 is subjected to pulse oscillation by a pulse generator 18 and LD 16 is continuously oscillated. Laser beams LDs 14, 16 are respectively condensed to a dichroic mirror 20 by lenses 22, 24 and met to be incident to the second higher harmonic generating element 26. The light having a necessary wavelength in the output light from the element 26 is selectively taken out by an exciting light changing over interference filter 28 and the exciting light 32 thereof is allowed to irradiate the polyacrylamide gel in a migration tube 2 by a lens 30. The fluorescence 34 generated from a specimen 12 being migrated is gathered in the direction different by 90 deg. from that of the exciting light 32 by a lens 36 and incident to a photomultiplier tube 40 through an interference filter 39 to be measured. By this method, an apparatus can be miniaturized. |
