PURPOSE:To permit a plurality of pallets to be changed in a short time, by providing a pallet support member having a number of pallet mounting surfaces and capable of being indexed about a rotating shaft disposed in parallel with and horizontally to the direction in which the pallets are charged and discharged. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pallets P having fixtures corresponding to various kinds of works are mounted on a pallet support member 5 which can be turningly indexed by a rotating shaft 9. A pallet P having a fixture corresponding to a work fed according to a schedule is driven and turningly indexed by a pallet drive source so that it is positioned by a pallet positioning unit 15. Then, the pallet P is fed onto a table of a pallet charge and discharge unit. A work is fed onto the pallet P by a separate feed unit. Since the pallet support member is of a circular shape, a necessary floor area is reduced and the pallet can be changed between the support member and the side of the table in a short time. |
