PURPOSE:To obtain the titled cyan coupler having excellent graininess and sharpness by incorporating a specific coupler to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains the cyan coupler shown by formula I wherein A is a naphthol or a phenol type cyan coupler residual group having >=8C ballast group, R1 and R2 are each alkyl, alkenyl or cycloalkyl group, R3 is a group capable of substituting to a benzene ring, (n) is 0, 1, or 2, when (n) is 2, R3 is same or different with each other, and R3 together with each other may form a ring, but, the total carbon number of R1, R2 and (R3)n is >=10. Thus, the titled material having excellent graininess and sharpness and high sensitivity and which is not liable to occur contamination is obtd. |
