PURPOSE:To obtain an optical fiber bundle which has flexibility and hand cutting property permits easy lamination and has high resilience by using a specific ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer as an adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:The ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (70-95wt% content of the vinyl acetate residue) is used as the synthetic resin of the optical fiber bundle made of plastic formed by arranging plural pieces of the plastic optical fibers (outside diameter D) consisting of an org. polymer as the core material and fluoroplastic as the cladding material and adhering the plastic optical fibers to each other by the synthetic resin; in addition, the coating thickness thereof is specified to 1/1,000-1/2 the value of D. The copolymn. ratio of the vinyl acetate is preferably 80-90wt%. The coating thickness of the synthetic resin (thickness after drying) is preferably specified to 1/100-1/10 times the outside diameter D of the optical fiber.
