PURPOSE:To obtain the high traveling stability with less variation of the control faculty by installing a float control type pressure regulator consisting of the first and second variable orifices between a negative pressure source and an actuator. CONSTITUTION:A float control type pressure regulator 14 connected in a negative pressure conduit 12 which communicates to the negative pressure port 1c of an actuator 1 is installed between a negative pressure source 10 and an actuator 1. The pressure regulator 10 consists of the first orifice 14a and the second orifice 14b, and the first orifice 14a is throttled by the applied negative pressure, and the second orifice 14b is opened. The sharp increase of the negative pressure on the application of the negative pressure source 10 can be suppressed, and the unstable phenomenon such as overshoot can be prevented. Further, the constant gain control due to the nearly constant negative pressure is permitted in the stationary case by the action of the pressure regulator 14, and the constant speed traveling control with high stability is permitted.
