PURPOSE:To attain debug while neglecting incorrect access by giving a reply representing the normal operation to a write request and replying a request for a preset content in receiving access to a predetermined area such as area without resource or a write inhibition area. CONSTITUTION:A data in response to an area applying a special reply is set to a control section 2 of a storage device 1 via a bus 3. In case of the write mode, when a write request is given to a memory address of an area assigned to the storage device 1 via the bus 3 from a central processing unit 4, if the memory address exists in an area applying special reply or an area without resource, the same signal as that at normal write is outputted to the bus 3 and no revision is applied to the memory data in the storage device 1. In other cases, normal write is applied. In case of the readout mode, if a read request is given to an area without resource or a special area, a preset data is outputted. In other cases, normal read is applied.
