PURPOSE:To provide a medium containing a non-cellulosic carbon compound as a carbon source, capable of improving the cellulase-productivity of a cellulase-producing microorganism and giving cellulase useful as an additive for detergent composition for clothes at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:The objective medium is produced by compounding preferably 1-4wt% non-cellulosic carbon compound (e.g. sucrose, fructose, etc.) as a carbon source and generally an assimilable nitrogen source (e.g. meat extract), an inorganic salt (e.g. KH2PO4), an organic and inorganic minor nutrient sources, etc. |
