PURPOSE:To improve rising acceleration at the time of starting a vehicle by dividing the intake pipe of each cylinder into plural sectional intake pipes, and making the diameters of the sectional intake pipes the same. CONSTITUTION:The intake pipe of each cylinder is divided into plural sectional intake pipes 14, 16. The diameters d1, d2 of the sectional intake pipes 14, 16 are made equal. A cylindrical valve 30 is provided on the opening part 26 of the sectional intake pipes 14, 16, and by opening and closing the cylindrical valve 30, the length of the sectional intake pipes 14, 16 is adjusted to regulate intake air inertia. Thereby, it is possible to set an output which gives priority to low engine speed, increasing rising acceleration at the time of starting a vehicle.
