Pressed fibre pallet with converging hollow feet - has projections to engage openings with feet retaining screws in pallet skids

The pallet consists of ligno-cellulose fibre material hotpressed with a thermo-setting binding agent. It has a rectangular load surface and upwardly open, hollow, downwardly converging feet (3). The lower ends of the feet have a prismatic or cylindrical projection (31) forming a shoulder (33) set back from the converging portion (32). Skids (5) are provided which permit transport on roller tracks etc. The skids have openings (52) for the projections of the pallet feet, with downwardly inclined retaining screws (53') capable of holding the skids in position. The screws may be pointed so as to penetrate into the projections (31). The projections may be recessed to receive the screws.
