PURPOSE:To regulate the feeding quantity of air into an engine in accordance with an operating condition while preventing the wear and failure of a clutch by providing a power transmission system for a supercharging air and providing a throttle valve in an air feeding passage to a compressor. CONSTITUTION:The power from the crankshaft 16 of an engine 6 is transmitted to the shaft 12 of a compressor 1 via gears 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d. At the time of accelerating operation of the engine 6, a throttle valve 3 is operated interlocked with an accelerator pedal 10, and the throttle valve 3 is widely opened when the operating quantity of the accelerator pedal 10 is large while the throttle valve 3 is throttled when the operating quantity of the accelerator pedal 10 is small.
