PURPOSE:To cut a work with high productivity by arraying plural laser heads at least in one row to intersect orthogonally with the advancing direction of the work and controlling the output for each of the laser heads according to the extent of the movement of the work. CONSTITUTION:A work (not shown) is sandwiched by sandwiching bars 4a, 4b of a working bed 4 and a screw shaft 6 to be screwed to the nut member 5 of the bed 4 is driven to rotate by a motor 7 to move the work in an arrow direction. The extent of the movement thereof is detected with a pulse generator 8 and the moving position from the origin detected with an origin detector 9 is detected. On the other hand, a laser head supporting part 2 and a shielding plate 3 are attached to leg arms 1a, 1b in the position facing the top and bottom of the work so as to intersect orthogonally with the advancing direction of the work. Two rows of laser head groups 10, 11 are provided in the part 2. The cutting data corresponding to the moving positon of the work is read from a memory and the laser heads are controlled in accordance with the same, by which cutting is accomplished. |
