The device is intended in particular for a fracture FR of the neck of the femur C, which is substantially vertical, in order to eliminate shear and traction forces stressing the regenerating tissue and tending to tilt the head T of the femur. The device comprises an implant with a plate 5 and oblique blade 6, and at least one long fastening screw 2. The plate 5 is pressed against the outer epiphysial face of the femur. The blade 6 penetrates the epiphysis E in the direction of the fracture FR, without however reaching it. The screw 2 passes through a hole in the plate, in which the screw head is housed, and comprises a reinforcement section 21, supported by the blade, and a threaded end 23 anchored in the head of the femur, on each side of the fracture. <IMAGE>
