PURPOSE:To prevent the elution of phosphorus from bottom sludge and to remove efficiently the eluted phosphorus by placing a reticular or a porous structure packed with a phosphorus-adsorptive granular material in the liq. phase above the bottom sludge and/or at the upper part of the bottom sludge. CONSTITUTION:A reticular structure 3 or a porous structure packed with a phosphorus-adsorptive granular material 2 [e.g., phosphate rock, KANUMATSUCHI (volcanic ash soil), bone ash, slag, and burnt magnesia] is placed in the liq. phase above bottom sludge 1 and/or at the upper part of the bottom sludge 1, when phosphorus eluted from the bottom sludge 1 of lakes, marshes, etc., is removed or the elution of phosphorus is prevented. Consequent ly, the elution of phosphorus from bottom sludge is prevented and the eluted phosphorus can be efficiently removed. |
