PURPOSE:To lessen a black spot of the titled emulsion and to make the titled emulsion to high contrast by incorporating an anionic cyanine dye to the titled emulsion after adding a cationic cyanine dye to the emulsion in a printing photosensitive material contg. a specific hydrazine compd. CONSTITUTION:The anionic cyanine dye (B) is incorporated to the titled emulsion after adding the cationic cyanine dye (A) to the emulsion in the printing photosensitive material contg. the hydrazine compd. shown by the formula. For example, the dye (A) is incorporated to the emulsion, and after the lapse of a prescribed time, the dye (B) is added to the emulsion. At the time that the compd. shown by the formula is added to the emulsion, the compd. may be incorporated to a coating solution after adding the dyes A and B to the emulsion. In the formula, R<11>-R<13> are each H or an aliphatic group, etc., R<14> is H or alkyl group, etc., G<11> is carbonyl or sulfonyl group, etc., (n) is 0 or 1. Thus, the emulsion having less black spot and high contrast is obtd., and the processing time of the titled emulsion is reduced. |
