Compounds of formulae Ia and Ib <IMAGE> (Ia) <IMAGE> (Ib) wherein R1 is C6-C22alkyl, phenyl or phenyl which is substituted by one or two C1-C9alkyl groups, or is C5-C7cycloalkyl or a group of formula IIa or IIb <IMAGE> (IIa) <IMAGE> (IIb) or R1 is a group of formula IIIa or IIIb <IMAGE> (IIIa) <IMAGE> (IIIb) R2 and R3 are each independently of the other C1-C20alkyl, phenyl or phenyl which is substituted by one or two C1-C9alkyl groups, or are C5-C7cycloalkyl, and R4 is C2-C12alkylene, are suitable for stabilizing chlorinated polymers against light- and/or heat-induced degradation.
