PURPOSE:To improve the reliability in a lug scrap disposal by providing a chute part storing a lug scrap just under a side trimmer and providing further a guide part to guide the lug scrap vertically to the biting part of a winding shaft and pressing roller. CONSTITUTION:The chute parts 4, 5 composed of the two chambers partitioned by a partion board 10 are provided just under a side trimmer 1 to enable to store the lug chip 3 caused from a strip steel 2. Said lug chip 3 is guided in the vertical direction to a biting part by guides 8, 9 from said chute parts 4, 5. The lug chip 3 is now wound on a winding shaft 6 by the pressing roller 7 rotating in the arrow mark direction. In case of the lug chip 3 being ruptured, etc., said guide 8 is driven by a fluid body cylinder 13 to perform the winding of the lug chip 3. After forming the chip coil 11 expanded by winding said partition plate 10 is advanced by the driving of a fluid cylinder 14, the lug chip 3 is cut and stored in the upper part chute part 4 as well, and the chip coil 11 is carried out by the carry-out device 13 provided just under a winding shaft 6.
