<p>PURPOSE:To deodorize a gas generating bad odor by a method wherein air containing odor gas generated from a sludge processing tank is supplied as fuel combustion air for a gas turbine generator producing a combustion temperature more than a specified temperature. CONSTITUTION:Air in a processing chamber 2 is guided from a suction duct 14 to a gas turbine generator 17 and supplied as fuel combustion air. Air in the processing chamber 2 contains bad odor gas such as hydrogen sulfide, phenol, mercaptan, ammonia, etc., generated from various sludge processing tanks, which are exposed to hot temperature of 800 deg.C or higher in a gas turbine generator 17, decomposed and deodorized. In this case, a branch pipe 29 is connected to a stack 20 through a three-way valve 30 to feed air from the processing chamber 2 directly into the stack 20. This branch pipe 29 may perform a direct discharging of gas into surrounding atmosphere from the stack 20 if a large amount of bad odor gas is not contained in the air in the processing chamber 2 and so supplying of air into the gas turbine generator 17 is not performed. With this arrangement, the gas turbine generator 17 is not broken by the bad odor gas.</p> |
