<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to positively prevent a water leakage trouble from occurring by providing a detection part for detecting the water leakage of a hot water storage tank, a valve for interrupting water supply to a hot water storage tank, an alarm device for reporting a water leakage, and a control part for periodically actuating a valve. CONSTITUTION:Heteropole electrodes 11 and 12 are provided at a part within a drain port 8 at a predetermined interval. If a water leakage should happen and water flows at this part, heteropole electrodes 11 and 12 are energized through water resistance. A control part 13 detects the conductive state and reports it by means of an alarm lamp 14 or an alarm buzzar 15 and the water supply is interrupted by a valve provided in a water supply pipe 3 of the hot water apparatus 1. Further, a signal for periodically actuating a valve 16 is outputted from the control part at the time of starting the supply of midnight power, whereby it is possible to remove the firm adherence from a valve 16. Further, outputting of an action signal to the valve 16 from the control part 13 may be periodically actuated at the time of starting the power supply of a heating unit 5.</p> |
