PURPOSE:To reduce a registering operation with respect to the association of a user by learning used opponent dials and associating one touch dial buttons with the opponent dials in accordance with the frequency of use. CONSTITUTION:If the handset HAN of a telephone set is picked up, an off-hook signal SIG1 is transmitted to a main unit ME, which transmits four pieces of high-order dial information DAT1 to the telephone set TEL from a dial learning memory GAK. The telephone set TEL associates dial information with the one touch dial keys TKEY and sequentially displays them in a dial display part DISP. If the one touch dial key TKEY is depressed, the main unit ME adds frequency information HIN of the dial corresponding to the dial key signal SIG3 in the dial learnig memory GAK, and updates the sequence in the dial learning memory GAK. Thus, the user needs not to learn the frequency of use and to associate the opponent dial keys with the dial keys, whereby operation can be simplified.
