PURPOSE:To automatically connect between a calling telephone set and the callee on-train telephone set by calling out the on-train telephone set concerned on the basis of a voice information from the caller, and instructing the connection between the calling telephone set and the on-train telephone set. CONSTITUTION:At first, a guidance to request the 'name and number of train' to be connected is sent to the caller from an audio response circuit 3, and the voice sent from the caller responding to this is recognized by a voice recognition circuit 4, and stored in a voice storage circuit 5. Afterwards, the connection between a public telephone is disconnected once, and the on-train telephone set concerned is called out by a control interface circuit 2, and the callee is called out by informing the name of the callee on the train and a prescribed communication number information to a telephone operator on the train. Then, a centralized control circuit 7 searches the telephone number of the public telephone set of the caller, and calls out automatically a caller through the control interface circuit 2, and at the same time, instructs a public telephone exchange and a train telephone exchange to connect between the calling side and the on-train telephone set.
