PURPOSE:To prevent the self-circulation of liquid by providing auxiliary vanes on positions opposite to each other across a connecting port for the flow-out of fluid of a centrifugal impeller. CONSTITUTION:Impeller backside vanes 4c are provided on the top face, and impeller downside vanes 4d are provided on the bottom face, of an impeller 4 as its auxilary vanes. Fluid which is sucked in from a center port 4a is sent out to a delivery pipe 10 through a connecting port 4b. A fluid 21 in a lower housing flow passage 6a is pushed back to the outer peripheral direction from the center of the impeller 4 and sealed due to the rotating centrifugal force of the impeller backside vanes 4c and the impeller downside vanes 4d. Thereby, the self-circulation of liquid in a liquid pump can be prevented.
