PURPOSE:To promote an increase of the time able to perform power generation, by controlling an outlet valve from its full opening to full closing of an electric dust collector in a condition with a turbine in continuous operation and switching a gas purifying line from its wet system to dry system. CONSTITUTION:A venturi scrubber 9 and an electric dust collector 10 are provided in a furnace top pressure gas supply path to a turbine 11 from a blast furnace 8. In a condition that the turbine is in continuous operation, a gas cleaning line is switched from its wet system to dry system by controlling an electric dust collector outlet valve from its full opening to full closing. While the gas cleaning line is switched from its dry system to wet system by controlling a Venturi scrubber outlet valve 2 from its full closing to full opening. In this way, since the switching can be performed in the condition with the turbine in the continuous operation, the turbine, whose stopping time is eliminated, enables the time, able to perform power generation, to be increased.
