This orientable lamp holder comprises a body 11 in the form of a box and a frame 12 in which this body is housed and hinged (at 14) in order to rotate around an off-centred axis. Cooling fins 21 are provided on the body. The frame 12 carries clip-on springs 17 which are used to hold the frame in a fitting housing. A closure element 20 clips onto springs mounted in the body.
