PURPOSE:To efficiently collect other glycerophosphorylcholines having optional acyl groups, by carrying out ester interchange of phosphatidyl choline using a specific modified lipase holding enzymic activity. CONSTITUTION:A modified lipase obtained by partially substituting lipase molecules with an active derivative of polyalkylene glycol having terminal hydrophobic groups, e.g. modified lipase in which amino groups of the lipase molecules are partially substituted by 2,4-bis(methoxypolyoxyethylene)-s-triazine containing the polyoxyethylene moiety having >=5,000mol.wt., is used to subject acyl groups in the phosphatidyl choline to ester interchange with optional fatty acids in an organic solvent, e.g. benzene, chloroform, etc.
